Placing an order with Misfit & Co. means you have read and are agreeing to all of these stated terms and conditions. Prior to purchasing, to avoid any disappointments - please email us with any questions you may have pertaining to a particular garment, shipping, or any other issues that would inhibit you from confidently purchasing from us. You can email us at info@misfitandco.com, and we will reply within 24 hours. Once a purchase is made, we will process your order and send a shipping confirmation notice, within 24 hours. Prices are non-negotiable. Please refer to our Sizing and Item Condition guides prior to purchase.

Return Policy
All accessories, jewelry, swimsuits and handbags are final sale with no returns accepted.

Shipping USA
Shipping and Handling Misfit & Co. direct ships to all 50 United States via UPS. Orders are processed within 1-2 days of the order date (Monday through Friday. Orders shipped via UPS Ground should arrive in 7-14 days from the order date. Orders shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air should arrive in 3-5 days from the order date. A tracking number will be emailed to buyer once order is shipped.

Free Shipping
Free shipping on all domestic orders over $250.00 USD (before tax), for all orders below $250.00 USD, a $7.50 USD flat shipping fee applies. Return shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. A handling charge is never added unless you request some type of special handling.
Free Gift Wrapping
All orders placed between November 25th 2011, and January 1st 2012 will have an option for 'Free Gift Wrapping' at check out. Styles will vary, items will be gift boxed wrapped, and than placed within standard shipping parcel to ensure gifting durability.
Tax
All purchases sent within the State of California are subject to 7.750% California sales tax unless customer has a valid exemption certificate.
Returns
Accessories, handbags, jewelry are not returnable. Garment returns will be accepted only with Misfit & Co.'s prior approval, for store credit only, less shipping. When you receive your items, please inspect them and make sure they meet your expectations. Please notify us by email at (info@ misfitandco.com) [MUST BE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF YOUR PACKAGE] if you wish to request approval for return of the merchandise and the specific reason for return. Returns must first be approved by Misfit & Co. via email. Returns received without prior written approval from Misfit & Co. via email will be refused. Sales receipt, documentation regarding the sale, and the return approval email documentation from Misfit & Co. must be included in the return package. We specify item condition of each item and provide verified measurements of each item in our webstore, therefore these are not valid reasons for return. Return items must be in the exact condition as sent with all hang tags attached and received within seven (7) days of the original shipping date. The condition and acceptance of the returned merchandise will be determined at the sole discretion of Misfit & Co. We inspect, and photograph items as well as document item's condition before shipping. Misfit & Co. will issue a store credit code via email. Store credit must be used within one (1) year of the date of issue upon Misfit & Co's. receipt and acceptance of returned merchandise. To redeem store credit for online items at www.misfitandco.com, you may email us (info@misfitandco.com) to make your selections and shipping arrangements, or store credit codes and account credits may also be applied at checkout to future orders. The Buyer is responsible for any return postage. shipping, insurance, and any applicable taxes must be covered in the store credit amount or paid separately. Shipping charges are not refundable. On the condition that Free Shipping was offered on the purchase and a return is requested, the store will credit amount received and will deduct the original shipping costs. No returns on international orders.
Vintage/Retro Sizing
Vintage & Retro garment sizes from past decades are not the same as modern sizing. The measurements posted for each product are the dimensions of the garment, not your measurements. We measure as accurately as possible. For the best fit, you will need to take your measurements and account for comfort and ease of movement. We measure precisely, not approximately, and do so while the item is hanging, in an unstretched state.
The Following outlines how we measure our garments so you can ensure the perfect fit, and have confidence before purchasing. Measurements are taken on a flat surfaced - and are doubled for Bust/Hips/Waist:
Bust: Measured directly beneath armpit seams - doubled
Sleeve Length: Measured from shoulder seam to end of sleeve (cuff)
Shoulders: Measured from one shoulder seam to another (horizontally across back )
Length: Measured down centre of back, from neckline to hemline.
Waist: Measured at smallest part of stomach (where the natural curve is) - doubled Hips: Measured at fullest part of hips, in between your waist and thighs - doubled
Inseam: Measured at inner pant seam from crotch to hemline
About Vintage & Retro Clothing
Most of the items available at Misfit & Co. have been previously owned and might have slight imperfections. We only select best for your consideration. Occassionally, the finest representation of a piece may have flaws. It is almost impossible to find an older garment without a flaw. We will point out anything which affects the wearability or value of the item. Remember, these product listings are of vintage pieces that could be decades old. A small blemish can enhance the charm and authenticity of the piece. Wearing vintage is a matter of taste. Some shoppers might be better suited buying new. However, if you desire quality and want to develop your own fashion personality, then you will overlook a small imperfection to value the timeless sophistication of vintage pieces.
Our Vintage Ratings
We professionally clean and repair all items as much as possible so we rarely accept or sell anything in less than Excellent Condition, unless it is an extra special piece, a collector's item, or an exception due to its age or era. Any major flaws are mentioned in the item's description. Once in a while we may miss small flaws such as minor loose seams, tiny holes or faint stains. Small flaws that are not visible or do not affect the wearing of the item are not mentioned. Please keep in mind that most of our items are from decades past and will have typical vintage wear from cleaning, age, etc. unless it's listed as Mint Condition. We want you to be happy with your Misfit & Co purchase, so please contact us for information regarding an item's condition.

Great: One, perhaps two teeny issues. A barely-there spot or a slightly frayed cuff, for example.
