Wicked Games Look Book
The inspiration for the shoot came with the merging of seasons - mixing the bright hues of summer, with the dark and mysterious shades of Fall. Along with the juxtapose of our color palette - was the actual looks we created - as ethnic prints and hues are also a favorite of ours, and this past summer showed them in their strongest form - thus we didn't miss this opportunity to showcase our own collection of a fabulous array of exotic prints and fabrics.
Aside from the transition of seasons, the actual location lent itself for inspiration. The area is very isolated sitting high up in the Californian sky - nestled between many mountain ranges - and inhabited with many plants and animals who call the Plateau home - which we can vouch for, as a Mountain Lion crossed the road in front of our car!
Not only home to the physical inhabitants - the Plateau, due to it's rich History in the Spanish Exploration - is said to have many spirit residents.
As the sun set - the erie vibe we wanted to infuse into the shoot - naturally was achieved, as strange lights kept appearing on our film - and the mountains and setting became to look more sinister the closer the sun got the horizon.
We can't confirm any of the legends - yet we can confirm that we left with some kick ass photos - and we are excited to finally share them with you! Enjoy
